A Career Built on Giving

Bob currently serves as Executive Director of Development at the School of Public Health at Indiana University-Bloomington, where he leads fundraising and philanthropic strategy for one of the nation's premier public health institutions. His work there reflects a career-long dedication to connecting generous donors with organizations doing meaningful work in healthcare, research, and education.

With more than 20 years of philanthropic development experience, Bob has worked across hospitals, healthcare organizations, biomedical research institutions, and universities. Over the course of his career, he has raised over $75 million in support of the organizations he has served — a testament to his ability to build relationships, communicate mission, and inspire generosity at scale.

Leadership in the Field

Bob holds the designation of Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), a globally recognized credential that reflects demonstrated knowledge, skills, and commitment to ethical fundraising practice. He is also a Fellow of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (FAHP), the field's most distinguished honor, recognizing sustained excellence and leadership in healthcare fundraising.

His leadership extends to shaping the profession itself. Bob serves as Chair of the FAHP Journal Advisory Council, helping guide the research and thought leadership that advances the entire field. He has presented extensively at national and international philanthropy conferences, sharing insights and strategies that have helped organizations across the country strengthen their development programs and deepen their impact.
